VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Apr 26, 2006 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) — The Down Syndrome Research Foundation today announced that Josephine Mills, the founding Executive Director of the Down Syndrome Research Foundation, will be awarded Canada’s Meritorious Service Award on April 28th 2006.
This Award will be presented to Ms. Mills by Governor General Right Honorable Michaelle Jean at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.

OREM — The Utah Down Syndrome Foundation is seeking donations to pay for a young adults dance May 21 at Utah Valley State College.
The dance, which will be in the Grande Ballroom of the Sorensen Student Center, will be a country hoedown. Dress will be Western.
Activities include dinner and square-dancing instruction.
